Privacy Policy for Starbit Racer

This privacy policy applies to the mobile application Starbit Racer, distributed via Google Play.

What the app collects directly

Starbit Racer does not operate any servers or backend services. The only data the app itself stores is local on your device:

• Your in-game progress (credits / balance, owned and equipped ship parts, per-part durability, enhancement chips)
• Which sectors and tiers you have unlocked
• Your settings and preferences (such as audio options)

This data is not transmitted off your device, is not shared with anyone, and is automatically deleted when you uninstall the app.

The app does not require an account. It does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, or any other personal information.

Data collected by third-party services

The app uses services from Google that may collect data:

Google AdMob (advertising)

Starbit Racer shows advertisements provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect:

• Your advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID / AAID)
• Your approximate location (city-level, derived from your IP address)
• Device information (model, OS version, screen size, language, time zone)
• Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks, view duration)

Google User Messaging Platform (consent)

Used to display consent dialogs in regions where required (see "Regional rights" below). Stores only your consent choices. See Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Regional rights

European Economic Area and United Kingdom (GDPR / UK GDPR)

If you are located in the EEA or the UK, you will be presented with a consent dialog on first launch, powered by Google's User Messaging Platform. You may choose between personalized and non-personalized advertising. You may withdraw or change your consent at any time by clearing the app's data in your device's system settings, which will re-trigger the dialog on the next launch.

California (CCPA / CPRA)

We do not "sell" personal information as defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act. Targeted advertising via AdMob may qualify as "sharing" under updated CPRA rules. You may opt out of personalized advertising via the consent dialog (Google's UMP presents this to California users), or by enabling the "Limit Ad Tracking" setting in your Android device's system settings.

Children's privacy (COPPA)

Starbit Racer is rated for general audiences and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at the email below and we will work with Google to address it.

Data we do NOT collect

To be explicit, Starbit Racer does not collect:

• Your name, email address, or phone number
• Your precise location (only AdMob's city-level approximation from IP)
• Your contacts, calendar, photos, or files
• Biometric data
• Health or financial information
• Crash reports or performance metrics directly (Google Play Console may aggregate some of this from the operating system, but we do not ship a separate analytics or crash-reporting SDK)

We do not operate a server, so we cannot collect anything via remote logging or telemetry.

Your rights

• Access and deletion of our data: Because we do not collect personal data ourselves, there is nothing on our side to delete. Uninstalling the app removes all local data immediately.
• Data held by Google AdMob: Managed via your Google Account at https://myaccount.google.com/data-and-privacy.
• Opt-out of personalized advertising: Use the consent dialog on first launch (EEA / UK / California), or enable "Opt out of Ads Personalization" in your Android device's Google settings.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Effective date" at the top of this document will reflect the most recent change. Material changes will be communicated through the app's release notes on Google Play.
